He walked out the UBW following Backyard Brawl 2. Still on the payroll and still part of the roster, however he made it clear; he wanted no part of the UBW for quite a long time.

It’s really no surprise United Backyard Wrestling, Inc. owner Gregory Stevens has made many announcements this evening. One of the announcements in which the owner and operator of UBW has made is that the company will no longer officially recognize the Albuquerque and Lightweight Championship reigns.

The two will face eachother at Ruckus in a Texas-Sized Showdown. What are the stipulations to this match? Where the hell as Ace of Spades been? and what does the rookie Mike Bowler have to make of all this attention from the once one-time operator of the UBW?

On Tuesday former World Champion Alex notified UBW that he would be leaving the UBW until further notice — but it would be on his terms and his terms only.
Ever since his loss at Backyard Brawl 2 thanks in part of Gregory Stevens Alex has been nothing but bitter to the fellow wrestlers and even his friends and family. “It has taken toll on the former Champion” said Big Poppa Peepers, Alex’s cousin and current Hardcore champion. “This was the second time he has been royaly fucked over by that asshole Stevens and this one has hit him very very hard.
