El Que (2009)

You can call it Mexico’s biggest export since the macarenia. He’s synonymous with such popular brands as the Kitty Burrito, Questionable Dog Food?, and El Que’s longdistance save-o-rama calling cards, yet this branding and marketing icon remains loyal to his true duty and roots, backyard wrestling.

“His ability to speak to the fans, mostly those whom speak Spanish, is unmatched and seems unstoppable.” noted UBW announcer John Kloppenborg. The longtime announcer continued, “between selling things, hosting Mexican game shows, I’m surprised the man can still wrestle  nearly every week on Massacre.”

Originally getting his start in the dirt covered backyards of the Chihuahua-state in his homeland of Mexico, El Que found himself immediately adored by the fans, particularly Latin pop-star Ricky Martin.  Martin, a self proclaimed fan of the ‘questionable lucha libre’, was so impressed by his “superior wrestling skills” that he donated his song for the superstar’s entrance when debuting in the UWA (now known as the UBW).  After wrestling in the Mexican backyards for nearly seven years, El Que was offered a lucrative contract by UBW Food & Sanitary services to promote it’s new line of Mexican-food products targeted to consumer-unconscious consumers. El Que, along with his then wife and 4 out of their 12 children crossed the border and found a new life in Nogales, Arizona.  Bagging groceries, recording commercials and wrestling in the Arizonan backyards, the hottestt Mexican export became an overnight sensation after his Kitty Burrito commercials with national. Instantly, everyone wanted El Que, especially those in the UWA.

“[UBW] called and and offered a beautiful contract, one he [El Que] could not simply turn away from.” noted El Que’s agent Hernando Sanchez-Rodriquez Smith IV. Within weeks of signing El Que found himself debuting in the backyard’s of East Des Moines, Iowa, a mecca to backyard wrestling if you will.

How far will El Que’s popularity go? According to the superstar, “very far, hopefully to a better promotion, with hotter chicks that have bigger tits, nice asses, like soft cantaloupes and a variety of Mexican beers available for the talent instead of water from a garden hose.”

One day El Que, one day.
